BSN Boron Nitride

Image
Innovacera have a new material member named BSN joined BMATS® Solid Boron Nitride family. BSN is a composite material, it’s made from BN and Silicon Nitride. It’s with very good mechanical strength and wear resistance. BSN is often used as nozzle, crucible and stir rods due to its high performance. The working life is much longer compared with other composite   boron nitride ceramics   materials. Features 1.Best wear resistance in Solid BN family 2.Best mechanical strength Solid BN family 2. Good thermal resistance 3. Low thermal expansion 4. Good thermal shock resistance 5. High electrical insulation 6. Non wet to molten metal and glass 7. Good corrosion resistance Technical data sheet Applications 1.Crucibles/Nozzles for molten metal 2.Parts for semiconductor equipment 3.Jigs for molding glass

Pyrolytic Boron Nitride (PBN) Crucibles For MBE Chamber

Image
INNOVACERA manufactures a wide range of PBN ceramic components, including discs, sheets, filament rings, VGF crucibles, LEC crucibles, MBE crucibles, conical crucibles, and custom-machined parts. Pyrolytic Boron Nitride (PBN) is a high-purity material derived from hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) using a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process. This method aligns boron nitride crystals parallel to the substrate, resulting in exceptional purity (99.99%) and durability. PBN’s CVD structure limits wall thickness to 3mm but provides high mechanical strength, making it ideal for high-vacuum environments and molten metal applications. Its unique thermal properties, such as anisotropic thermal conductivity and resistance to high temperatures, make PBN the preferred material for vacuum furnace components and crystal growth crucibles. In molecular beam epitaxy (MBE), a standard process for gallium arsenide (GaAs) crystal production, PBN crucibles excel due to their superior performance. Key ...

Boron Nitride Carbon Steel Melting Ceramic Nozzles

Image
A   boron nitride ceramic nozzle   is a specialized tool used in the production of amorphous alloy strips. Amorphous alloys are a class of materials with a disordered atomic structure that offers unique electric, magnetic and mechanical properties, and their history counts approximately 40 years. In recent years, amorphous alloy industry technology have developed rapidly, so higher requirements have been put forward on the nozzle materials used in the key of tape production. The boron nitride composite ceramic material developed for amorphous strip production has excellent high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, thermal shock resistance, creep resistance and easy processing properties, which can meet the production of various amorphous strips, especially suitable for the needs of broadband amorphous strip production.   During amorphous alloy strips production process, a boron nitride ceramic nozzle is employed to deliver a precise and controlled flow of ...

Boron Nitride Molten Metal Atomizing Nozzles

Source: https://www.innovacera.com/news/boron-nitride-molten-metal-atomizing-nozzles.html  Boron Nitride ceramic is a kind of refractory ceramic with low expansion and high thermal conductivity. This makes it to be an ideal choice to molten metals. It's effortless to be machined to custom design with precision and tight tolerance because of its machinability. Boron nitride can be long-term used at 1800 degrees under vacuum atmosphere. With gas protection, Boron Nitride can be used at 2100 °C. Boron Nitride is with high thermal shock resistance, no cracks under extreme cold & high temperature. If you take out Boron Nitride from 1000 degree-furnace and cooling it within short minutes. It still won't break even repeat this test 100 times. Boron Nitride nozzle is often used in metal process for metal atomizing including various precious metal like gold, platinum, silver, etc Customized design of BN nozzle will be available for INNOVACERA
